Dr. Jeffrey Cheung

I grew up in Schaumburg, IL and graduated from the University of Illinois Chicago Dental School in 2005. After graduation I returned to my hometown and began my dental career in a group clinic. There I gained great insight in, not only dentistry, but also in the value of compassionate dental care. In late 2006 I joined with Dr. Shanahan here to deliver personalized dental care to our local community.

Educating and teaching patients is definitely my biggest passion. I greatly cherish the ability to better our patients’ lives by educating them, not just in oral health, but how these elements play a significant role in their overall health. To instill a notable betterment in our patients is one of the most rewarding aspects of what we do.

In my free time, I enjoy a very active lifestyle. Whether it’s wakesurfing or swimming, I am impassioned with aquatic activity. My other physical pursuits include calisthenics training and kickboxing. All of this, however, is secondary to my wife, Jen, and two handsome boys that keep my life focus straight.
